Set a Date

Corporate and personal casino party events work very well on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Weekdays can offer you discounts with most caterers, DJs, halls, hotels and other locations.

Corporate event planners should note that December and January are our busiest months and our competitors busiest months also, most weekends sell out early in the year, so plan well ahead to make sure you can set a date that you will want.

Party Start Time

You should consider starting your event between 6-8 PM. That makes the end time for an average 4 hour party between 10PM to Midnight. If you have outside music be aware that most neighbors like having any loud music end around 10pm.

For week day and Friday evening parties, keep in mind the traffic conditions that could keep guests away from your party. A later start time like 7-8 PM can help for those guests and arriving dealers that have to fight rush hour traffic to attend your party.

Number of Guests

It is important to determine how many guests you expect to attend and how many playing guests that you can expect. A good rule of thumb is to have enough available table spots to accommodate 70% of your total guests. Of course poker parties need enough tables to seat everyone that wants to play poker.

Select a Location

For a home party location you must decide if tables will be inside, outside or a combination of both. The weather can play havoc on outdoor parties. Cold air and rain can keep everyone inside and not too happy about being out side without any heaters.

The garage can be a nice location for a few tables. Make sure that there is clear access to and from the garage.

Food & Refreshments

Try to keep your food area contained to one location in or outside of your home. If you have a buffet style lunch or dinner it works best to have the buffet in another area other than the kitchen so the kitchen can be used for trash, clean up and extras.

Decorations

The most important decorations you need to set a casino theme are the table games from Pulcini Entertainment. They are more than sufficient to generate the excitement and feel of a Las Vegas casino.
Some choose to add additional flavor to the casino party with small decorations like Jumbo Playing Cards, balloons or Casino Banners for the walls and ceilings.

Raffle Tickets and Prizes

We always supply raffle tickets for your raffle drawing at the end of your casino party. Have as many prizes as you would like but try to make it so most of your guests can win a small prize.

One raffle ticket per $100 in fun money is a very standard practice that works well at most parties. You can have a minimum of 5 tickets and a maximum of 50 tickets so everyone still has a chance to win a raffle prize.

Casino Equipment

We will discuss with you your table needs and help you decide on the types of games and the number of recommended tables that will give your playing guests a true Las Vegas casino experience.

Blackjack and Roulette are very popular games with Craps being the most popular for players wanting to play and learn for the first time.

Music Entertainment

We always suggest some provision for background music. A lively casino party is a slightly noisy one. If a DJ or live band is not in your budget, ensure that you provide some other source of background music. If a DJ or live band is in the plans, we will be happy to tell you more about our Pulcini Music services.

Be aware that too loud of music can make it very hard for players and guests to talk and hear one another. This is especially true at the craps table when verbal communication between the players and dealers is very important as well as teaching how to play the game of craps.

Clean-up

We remove all the gaming equipment promptly once your casino party ends.
You need to make sure there are others on hand to help with any mess from spilled drinks that can be made by your guests.
